Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Battersea

Salary: £46,000 per annum

Location: Battersea, London

Hours: Monday–Friday, rotating shifts of 6:30am–3:30pm / 7:30am–4:30pm

Job Type: Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services and facilities maintenance provider, working on a large, newly redeveloped commercial site in Battersea.

You will become part of a structured on-site engineering team, carrying out a mixture of planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a modern commercial environment.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for a long-term position with a company that can offer ongoing training, technical development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the site
• Complete reactive electrical maintenance and respond to faults
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently
• Carry out general building services maintenance
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with relevant compliance standards
• Complete maintenance records and relevant documentation
• Work as part of a wider on-site engineering team
• Support additional works and overtime when required

Requirements

• Level 3 Electrical Qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience working within commercial building services / facilities maintenance
• Strong PPM and reactive maintenance experience
• Good electrical fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
• A proactive approach with good communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working within a structured commercial environment
• Must have the right to work in the UK – sponsorship is not available
