Mechanical Site Manager 

We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join a commercial project in London, starting in the next few weeks.

The successful candidate will have a strong background on commercial projects, with the ability to manage mechanical installation works and coordinate subcontractors effectively on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate mechanical installation works on site.

• Supervise mechanical subcontractors and site operatives.

• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

• Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, construction and other trades.

• Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors and client representatives.

• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the project team.

• Review drawings, specifications and technical information.

• Ensure RAMS, permits and site procedures are followed.

• Assist with inspections, testing, commissioning and snagging.

• Identify and resolve site issues and coordinate solutions with the wider project team.

• Maintain high standards of health & safety and housekeeping.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on commercial projects.

• Valid SMSTS certificate – essential.

• Valid CSCS card – essential.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services, including HVAC, pipework and associated systems.

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and specifications.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Good understanding of health & safety and site management procedures.

• Experience managing mechanical subcontractors and site teams.

• Commercial project experience is essential.
