Finance Manager - #2152836

A global agency is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the team. You will report into the MD and manage 2 juniors. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an SME and team management.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and manage two full-time finance staff, ensuring high performance, accurate workflow execution, and ongoing professional development.
• System Implementation & Ownership: Lead the upcoming transition from Xero to our proprietary bespoke platform, ensuring seamless data migration, system testing, and team onboarding over the next six months.
• Financial Operations Oversight: Oversee the complete financial workflow, taking ultimate responsibility for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and the management of payroll portals.
• Client Payment Workflows: Guarantee the exact, timely, and swift processing of all talent payments, maintaining the highest standard of accuracy.
• Process Architecture & Optimization: Proactively design, create, and refine back-office procedures. You will preempt bottlenecks and build scalable financial systems that support the agency's cross-border growth.
• Strategic Problem Solving & Risk Management: Act as an autonomous decision-maker to identify inconsistencies, resolve complex financial discrepancies, and provide strategic insights to the Managing Director.
• Senior Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the senior escalation point for client and internal financial queries. Utilize exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate sensitive conversations and successfully resolve issues with empathy and steadfast professionalism.
