Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Care Manager or Care Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality domiciliary care services. The successful candidate will ensure that clients receive safe, personalised and person-centred care in the comfort of their own homes, promoting their independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing. You will lead and support a team of care professionals, oversee care plans and assessments, monitor quality and safeguarding, and ensure compliance with CQC regulations, Caremark policies and procedures. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and organisational skills, a sound knowledge of home care and a genuine passion for making a positive difference to the lives of clients and their families.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that Caremark’s Aims & Objectives are achieved and that each client receives care and support appropriate to their individual needs.
• To ensure compliance with Caremark’s systems, policies and procedures.
• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of high-quality domiciliary care.
• Lead, manage and motivate a team of care professionals.
• Support staff development, performance management and training.
• Develop, review and maintain personalised care plans.
• Ensure the service operates in accordance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
• Monitor the quality and safety of care being delivered.
• Maintain accurate care records, schedules and operational documentation.
• Build strong relationships with clients, families, staff and external stakeholders.
• Support audits, inspections and quality assurance processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and contribute to the continuous development of the service.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures and best-practice standards are consistently followed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a senior role within domiciliary care, home care or another regulated adult social care setting.
• A Level 4 or Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care would be advantageous.
• Experience managing, supervising and supporting a team of care professionals.
• Good knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding, person-centred care, care planning and risk management.
• Experience of care assessments, reviews, spot checks, audits and quality monitoring.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Strong IT and administrative skills with good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and make sound decisions.
• Commitment to delivering high standards of care, dignity, safeguarding and client wellbeing.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Full UK driving licence or working towards it.
