Are you an experienced DevOps or Platform Engineer with a passion for cloud automation, modern engineering practices and AI-driven technology? We're looking for a hands-on AI Native DevOps Platform Engineer to design, automate, secure and operate highly scalable Azure platforms while helping shape how AI is used across infrastructure and software delivery.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in building an AI-native engineering capability within an ambitious, product-led environment. You'll work closely with Product Engineering teams and Technical Leadership to deliver cloud platforms, infrastructure, deployment pipelines, observability and developer tooling, while introducing AI-assisted and agent-driven approaches to improve engineering productivity, reliability and operational efficiency.

• Design, build and operate secure, resilient and highly available Microsoft Azure platforms
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and modern automation practices
• Deliver cloud-native infrastructure using Azure Functions, container platforms and managed Azure services
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable and repeatable software delivery
• Create self-service development environments, reusable platform services and engineering tooling
• Use AI-assisted and agent-driven engineering practices to improve infrastructure and platform delivery
• Build platforms that enable AI agents to safely provision, test, deploy, configure and manage cloud environments
• Develop governance controls, guardrails and approval workflows for AI-driven infrastructure operations
• Implement monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting across cloud platforms and applications
• Establish SRE principles and improve platform reliability, resilience and operational performance
• Embed security, governance and compliance throughout the software delivery lifecycle
• Optimise Azure environments for performance, scalability, reliability and cost efficiency
• Support model-serving infrastructure and AI observability capabilities
• Lead incident response and drive continuous improvement across production environments
• Work closely with engineering teams delivering microservices and distributed cloud-native applications

• Significant experience working as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer or Cloud Engineer
• Strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft Azure and cloud-native technologies
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform
• Experience designing, building and operating scalable, highly available cloud platforms
• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar technologies
• Experience with containerisation, container orchestration and modern cloud-native architectures
• Experience deploying and supporting distributed systems and microservices
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security and production platform operations
• Experience implementing observability across monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting
• Experience applying SRE principles to improve platform reliability and operational performance
• Experience using AI tools, intelligent automation or AI agents to improve engineering productivity, infrastructure delivery or software delivery
• Understanding of security, governance and operational controls within enterprise cloud environments
• Experience supporting modern software engineering teams within fast-paced, product-led environments

• Experience building self-service developer platforms or Internal Developer Platforms
• Knowledge of secure AI deployment, governance and approval frameworks
• Experience implementing automated infrastructure change and approval workflows
• Exposure to cloud cost optimisation and FinOps practices
• Experience with serverless technologies and managed Azure services
• Relevant Microsoft Azure, DevOps or HashiCorp Terraform certifications
• Experience working within Agile and product-led engineering environments
