This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-profile interim leadership assignment within a large housing organisation. With a key senior leader currently on long-term leave, the business requires an experienced insights professional to provide stability, guide preparations for a major regulatory review, and support customer-focused decision making across the organisation.

They are a large and well-established housing organisation with operations across multiple locations in England. They are committed to delivering high-quality services to their customers and maintaining strong regulatory standards. As they prepare for an important inspection process, they require experienced insight leadership to support the business and ensure readiness across key areas.

The Role and Deliverables

• Lead and support the insight function during a period of senior leadership absence.
• Prepare the organisation for a forthcoming regulatory inspection and help coordinate insight-related activities.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Chief Customer Officer, to understand customer priorities and organisational processes.
• Review existing reporting, processes, and operational performance measures to ensure inspection readiness.
• Deliver deep-dive analysis to support business decision making and identify areas of improvement.
• Provide leadership across both strategic insight initiatives and day-to-day business-as-usual activities.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong experience leading insight, analytics, or customer insight functions.
• Previous experience working within the housing sector and an understanding of housing regulation and inspection processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory reviews, inspections, or assurance activities within housing environments.
• Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing stakeholder decisions.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Comfortable balancing strategic leadership responsibilities alongside hands-on delivery.
• Experience across customer insight, customer journey analysis, and service improvement initiatives.
• Adaptable and capable of operating effectively in a fast-moving interim assignment.
