Tyler Wren is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Christchurch team.

This is a genuine opportunity to combine a successful recruitment career with a lifestyle that is difficult to replicate in the UK.

You will not be starting from scratch in a foreign country. You will join an established specialist consultancy with recognised market presence, warm client relationships, active talent networks and genuine support to build a high performing desk.

Your Recruitment Career

This is not a generalist recruitment role. Tyler Wren specialises in high value professional services recruitment across:

• Legal: New Zealand and Australia

• Banking, Finance, Insurance & Risk: New Zealand

Your market will be aligned with your existing recruitment experience, commercial strengths and interests.

We are particularly interested in recruiters who know how to build genuine client relationships, develop candidate networks and run a commercially successful desk.

What We Are Looking For

You will be an experienced Recruitment Consultant with a proven ability to manage and grow a specialist recruitment desk.

Legal, accounting, finance, banking, insurance or risk recruitment experience would be ideal, although we are open to recruiters from other specialist professional services markets.

More importantly, you will be someone who:

• Builds strong, long term client relationships
• Knows how to develop and manage a candidate network
• Is commercially minded and motivated by results
• Works independently without needing to be micromanaged
• Is resilient and self motivated
• Wants to build something rather than simply maintain an existing desk
• Is genuinely excited about living and working in New Zealand
