Billing Assistant (6-month FTC)

Market Rate Salary

London (EC1M) | Hybrid

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Billing Assistant to join a leading law firm in London on an initial six-month fixed-term contract.

Working within the Finance team, you will support:

• full billing cycle,
• preparing draft and final bills,
• processing time entries,
• managing disbursements,
• issuing invoices and handling amendments and credit notes.

You will also assist with client-specific billing requirements, e-billing, client portals, month-end billing and maintaining accurate billing records.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous billing or accounts experience, preferably within a legal or professional services environment. A good understanding of time recording, WIP, billing principles and VAT is desirable, alongside strong Excel skills and confidence using practice management systems.

You will be highly organised, numerate and detail-focused, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Please note: Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm.
