Financial Planning and Projects - #2154092

I am currently recruiting for an experienced finance professional to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and project finance within a local authority. The role will be for 6-12 months and will be paying £650 p/day.

Key responsibilities include

• Medium-term financial planning and budget management
• Financial modelling, forecasting and analysis
• Supporting transformation, savings and financial recovery programmes
• Developing business cases and options appraisals
• Advising senior stakeholders and service directors
• Monitoring project finances, risks and benefits

Requirements
Strong local government/public-sector finance experience, excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills, and proven experience delivering financial planning and transformation projects.
