The Opportunity

I'm currently working with a well-established and highly regarded independent construction consultancy in London that is looking to appoint an Intermediate Project Manager to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to take the next step in their career within a consultancy environment, working across a range of interesting and high-value construction projects while benefiting from strong support and opportunities for progression.

The Role
As an Intermediate Project Manager, you will be involved across the full project lifecycle, working closely with clients, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing projects from inception through to completion
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
• Coordinating design teams, consultants and contractors
• Managing project programmes, budgets and reporting
• Supporting procurement and tender processes
• Contract administration and managing project documentation
• Identifying and managing project risks
• Attending and leading project meetings
• Monitoring progress and ensuring projects remain on programme and within budget
• Supporting more junior members of the team and contributing to the wider consultancy

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:

• London construction Project Management experience
• Previous experience working within a construction consultancy or professional services environment
• Experience managing projects through multiple stages of the project lifecycle
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Good knowledge of construction processes, procurement and contracts
• Experience working across programmes, budgets, risk and reporting
• A relevant construction, property or project management degree
• A proactive approach and ambition to progress your career within consultancy
