An established London law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its highly regarded real estate team on an initial 6 or 12-month fixed-term contract. The role will involve a mix of asset management work, transaction support, post-completion matters and running your own files, offering excellent exposure to a broad range of commercial property work.

Description

• Supporting fee earners on a wide range of commercial real estate matters.
• Assisting with asset management work across a varied property portfolio.
• Supporting large-scale real estate transactions from inception to completion.
• Running your own files under appropriate supervision.
• Assisting with post-completion processes and registrations.
• Drafting and reviewing commercial real estate documentation.
• Conducting property searches and due diligence.
• Managing transaction documentation and completion checklists.
• Liaising with clients, agents and external stakeholders.
• Negotiating and assisting with infrastructure agreements.
• Coordinating multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
• Supporting a busy team on complex commercial property matters.
• Maintaining accurate records and matter management systems.
• Providing proactive administrative and transactional support throughout matters.

Profile

• Prior commercial real estate paralegal experience is essential.
• Experience gained within a recognised City, regional or commercial law firm.
• Asset management experience would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of commercial property transactions.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to manage work from multiple fee earners simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive and motivated approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Full UK working rights are essential.
• Available within a maximum one-month notice period.
• Able to work in a hybrid environment, including regular office attendance.

Job Offer

• Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
