Description

• Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve business objectives.
• Manage and nurture relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to meet targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the retail sector.
• Analyse market trends to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
• Work closely with other departments to align sales with company goals.
• Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Profile

A successful Head of Sales should have:

• Experience managing national accounts across grocery and or discounters.
• Strong experience in sales leadership.
• A background in FMCG.
• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strategic thinking with a focus on business growth.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and sales trends.
• A results-driven approach with the ability to work under pressure.
• This role is 3 days a week in London (Tues-Thurs). Stop-overs and commute not expensed

Job Offer

• Competitive salary of £95,000-£110,000 dependent on the level of experience.
