Accounts Payable Associate - #2154255

Charity Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join an International Charity. This is an excellent opportunity for a Accounts Payable Associate to work within a global, purpose-driven organisation.

This Accounts Payable Associate position is fully remote and would suit a Finance Associate who is confident working across teams, systems, and time zones. You will play a key role in ensuring payments are accurate, properly authorised, well documented, and processed efficiently across multiple countries and currencies. This is a temp to perm opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable and Payments: Process supplier invoices, grants, and reimbursements. Maintain payment-run controls, verify banking details, and reconcile accounts.
• Inbox and Relationship Management: Manage the shared AP inbox and collaborate with suppliers, partners, grantees, and colleagues to resolve queries.
• Payroll Support: Prepare, check, and maintain payroll data/payments while liaising with the external payroll provider.
• Systems and Reconciliation: Partner with the external bookkeeping provider to handle coding queries and support accurate transaction matching in QuickBooks Online.
• Internal Controls: Maintain month-end control lists, improve finance processes for global expansion, and escalate control concerns

Experience:

• Some prior experience in a finance administration, accounts payable, or bookkeeping role
• Practical experience processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Confidence using cloud-based accounting (e.g. QuickBooks Online), expense management
• (e.g. Payhawk), payment platforms, spreadsheets and collaborative tools (e.g. Slack).
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, multi-location environment, collaborating
• across teams and time zones.
