Residential Property Solicitor (3-5 PQE) - #2154266

AJ Chambers are currently working with a highly regarded, results-driven law firm seeking a Residential Property Solicitor (3–5 PQE) to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in high-value residential property transactions to work on a varied and sophisticated caseload, advising a diverse client base that includes private individuals, investors, offshore trusts and lenders.

The Role

You will be responsible for advising on a wide range of residential property transactions and related matters, including:

• Sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties across the UK.
• High-value residential property transactions, including prime London properties.
• Refinancing and remortgaging of individual properties and residential portfolios.
• Sales and purchases at auction.
• Leasehold enfranchisement and related matters.
• Licences to assign, licences for alterations, deeds of variation and other property documentation.
• Advising on easements, rights of light and access, tenancy agreements and management disputes.
• Supporting clients with due diligence, service charge issues, rent deposits and other transactional matters.
• Acting for lenders on a variety of transactions, from individual properties to large residential investment portfolios.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3–5 years' PQE as a Residential Property Solicitor.
• Strong experience handling a broad range of residential conveyancing matters.
• Exposure to high-value and complex residential property transactions.
• Experience advising on both freehold and leasehold properties.
• Excellent communication, organisational and client relationship skills.
• The ability to manage a varied caseload independently and deliver a high standard of client service.
