Daily Supply Teaching Assistant - Wandsworth - #2154280

Reeson Education is inviting Teaching Assistants to register their interest in daily supply work across Wandsworth. Flexible opportunities may suit candidates looking for regular school-day work while retaining choice over the days and year groups they support. The pay range is £86-£115 per day, depending on the assignment and experience.

Work may be available in nursery, Reception and primary classes through to Year 6. Some assignments involve general classroom support; others may include additional support for pupils with autism, ADHD, speech, language and communication needs, or social, emotional and mental health needs. Reeson will take account of each candidate's experience, preferred age groups and availability when discussing suitable work.

The role

• Support learning individually, in small groups and alongside the class teacher.
• Help pupils understand instructions, stay engaged and take part in lessons.
• Prepare and organise classroom resources and learning activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence and confidence.
• Follow guidance from teachers and contribute to a calm, consistent classroom.
• Support pupils with additional needs in line with the plan and direction provided by the setting.

Daily supply brings variety and the chance to build experience across different classrooms and school communities. Candidates can share whether they prefer full-time or part-time work and whether they are most confident in early years, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 or SEND support.

• Can follow instructions while using initiative appropriately.
• Brings relevant SEND experience or a genuine interest in inclusive practice.
