A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join a growing and highly regarded private client tax team in London.

This is a great move for someone who enjoys working with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners and families, and wants a role offering a strong balance of complex compliance, advisory work and senior-level client exposure.

You'll have plenty of autonomy over your portfolio while working alongside experienced tax professionals on more complex planning and advisory projects.

You'll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of private clients, managing relationships and overseeing their ongoing tax affairs while identifying opportunities to provide wider advice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and other private clients
• Reviewing complex UK personal tax returns and associated compliance work
• Advisising on a broad range of personal tax matters and planning opportunities
• Supporting clients with more complex or internationally connected tax affairs
• Building strong, long-term relationships and acting as a trusted adviser
• Managing deadlines, workflow and overall delivery across your portfolio
• Reviewing work prepared by junior members of the team
• Coaching and developing less experienced colleagues
• Working with other tax specialists where clients have broader requirements
• Identifying opportunities to deepen existing client relationships
• Supporting business development and contributing to the continued growth of the team

You'll be an experienced personal tax professional, ideally CTA and/or ACA qualified, with a strong background in UK private client tax.

You'll ideally bring:

• Strong UK personal and private client tax experience
• Experience managing your own portfolio of clients
• A good mix of compliance and advisory experience
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to apply it commercially
• Confidence dealing directly with high-net-worth and sophisticated private clients
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive approach to identifying planning and advisory opportunities
