Project Manager - £8m CAT B Refurbishment | Canary Wharf

Location: Canary Wharf, London

Rate: £375 - £475 per day (CIS), DOE

Duration: Approx. 26 weeks, through to early February 2027

We are working with an established fit-out contractor to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of an £8m CAT B refurbishment in Canary Wharf.

The Project

The scheme includes:

• CAT B refurbishment across three commercial buildings
• Reception and WC refurbishment
• Major plant replacement
• Significant M&E works, representing approximately 40% of the project value
• Phased delivery within live, occupied buildings
• Close coordination with tenants, client, consultants and building management

The Role

You will take lead responsibility for project delivery, managing the programme, site team, subcontractors and key stakeholders from mobilisation through to completion.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing programme, sequencing and day-to-day delivery
• Leading M&E and specialist subcontractor packages
• Managing client and stakeholder relationships
• Overseeing procurement, package management and commercial performance
• Coordinating works within an occupied environment and minimising disruption
• Maintaining standards across quality, health & safety and compliance
• Driving commissioning, snagging and final handover

About You

We are looking for a Project Manager with:

• Proven experience delivering CAT A/B commercial refurbishment projects
• Experience working within live, occupied buildings
• Strong M&E delivery experience
• A track record managing projects of £5m+
• Strong programme, subcontractor and stakeholder management skills
• Good commercial awareness across procurement and cost control
• The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive delivery
• Fit out experience with tier one contractors ideal
