Description
- Act as the main point of contact for dedicated broadcast and digital customers, providing excellent customer service for a portfolio of managed accounts
- Lead negotiations with these customers, ensuring they have the required licences in place to deliver their services, proactively identifying and resolving gaps in their licensing requirements
- Determine the overall approach for each commercial negotiation, ensuring positions are in line with agreed strategy
- Carry out or oversee data analysis of financial data and music usage, viewing trends and other key factors to support negotiations
- Lead the business input into contractual negotiations, working closely with Legal to resolve drafting issues
- Support senior management in negotiations with larger customers as required
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Finance and Operations to support critical processing activities (e.g. reporting and invoicing) and distribution assurance checks
- Prepare papers for member advisory groups to secure buy-in to recommended approach and present these papers where appropriate
- Identify new business opportunities and convert these into licences.
- Support senior management in the development of broadcast and digital licensing strategy
- Contribute to the annual budget setting process, with supporting analysis and the provision of regular performance updates and re-forecasts
Profile
Essential:
- Previous experience of negotiation and account management
- Ability to understand and interpret complex data, and present detailed information clearly and concisely
- A good understanding of all Microsoft Office software
- Persuasive and assertive communicator, able to establish a credible rapport and communicate effectively with customers
- Target orientated, highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent numeracy and literary skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge of relevant industries and music rights, including good understanding of copyright law
- Experience in using a CRM
Job Offer
- £45,000-£50,000 base (depending on experience) + bonus
- Hybrid working - 2 days/week in London office
