An established Top 50 accountancy firm is looking to appoint an Associate Director into its Tax Investigations & Disputes team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager ready to take the next step, or an existing Associate Director looking for a firm that offers a genuine pathway to Partnership.

The successful individual will play a key role in managing complex tax investigations, developing client relationships and helping to grow the firm's Tax Investigations offering.

• Lead and manage a varied portfolio of complex HMRC investigations and tax disputes.

• Advise individuals, owner-managed businesses and corporate clients on a range of contentious tax matters.

• Manage cases involving COP8, COP9, Code of Practice enquiries, disclosures and tax settlements.

• Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser on sensitive and complex matters.

• Identify opportunities to develop new business and generate work through existing relationships and professional networks.

• Support the continued growth of the Tax Investigations team, mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the wider tax practice.

• Work closely with Partners and senior leadership on the strategic development of the service line.

• An experienced Tax Investigations professional at Senior Manager or Associate Director level.

• Strong technical experience across HMRC investigations, tax disputes and disclosures.

• Experience handling complex cases, managing client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice.

• Confident in business development, with the ability and ambition to help grow a client portfolio.

• Looking for a role offering greater responsibility, visibility and long-term progression.

• A senior appointment within an established Top 50 accountancy firm.

• A salary of £80,000-£95,000, plus benefits.
