Overview This is a temporary assignment for 6 months.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic accounts payable function, ensuring the smooth processing of invoices, expenses, and payments while maintaining a robust internal control environment. Responsibilities
- Manage the accounts payable team to ensure timely processing of invoices, credit card, and personal expenses.
- Oversee payments generated by the Accounts Payable team, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Regularly review pending workflow invoice reports to ensure approvals meet agreed SLA timelines.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvements to existing systems and procedures.
- Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment, working closely with Internal Audit to ensure best practices are followed.
- Monitor and address any breakdowns in internal control procedures.
- Regularly review and update accounts payable procedure notes.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
- Proven experience managing an Accounts Payable function.
- Highly motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
- Strong team player with a flexible approach.
- Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas).
- Confident in SAP.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Experience with SAP S4/Hana.
- Familiarity with processing and designing Purchase Order systems.
- Lead and support the accounts payable team in their daily operations.
- Ensure all invoices and expenses are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct regular reviews of workflows and implement improvements where necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliance and best practices.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence.
