42054 ABS Portfolio Data Analyst, - VP, Growth Debt Fund - Eximius Finance - #2155250

My client is a growing credit fund, multi strategy across the credit space who have 3 main focuses, Special sits, Legal assets - Litigation financing/Asset backed and a Senior lending fund are recruiting in a a hybrid role sitting between the Investment team (ABS desk) and Asset Management team.

This is a newly created, dedicated role for an experienced asset-backed professional to own the granular, data-driven infrastructure and counterparty relationships that underpin the strategy as it continues to scale. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of ownership across assigned transactions and workstreams, with regular exposure to Investment Committee and Valuation Committee processes.

You will be the operational backbone of the asset-backed portfolio - building the processes, reporting and technology that let the team monitor transactions at the loan/asset level, leading operational due diligence on new investment opportunities, and owning the relationship with counterparties from deal closing through ongoing management.

The business is based in the West End and are in the office full time, 5 days a week.

Experience & Requirements

1. At least 5 years of experience in the asset-backed finance / structured finance sector (e.g. specialty finance or an equivalent originator/servicer environment).
2. Demonstrated experience setting up processes, reports and tools to manage data-intensive transactions.
3. Technologically adept, with hands-on experience using data and automation tools (e.g. SQL, Python, Excel/VBA, Power BI/Tableau, or similar) to build monitoring and insight-generation capabilities.
4. Experience conducting operational due diligence on asset-backed transactions such as lending platforms, royalty collection businesses, or insurers; prior experience leading ODD workstreams is an advantage.
5. Direct, hands-on operational experience engaging with and managing counterparties on asset-backed transactions.
6. Experience leading or closely supporting the deal-closing process, including translating contractual terms into operational requirements, data onboarding, and pre-close operational readiness checks.
7. Strong attention to detail and comfort working with granular, loan/asset-level data.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage directly with counterparties, legal counsel and the investment team.
9. Relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CFA, CAIA, CIMA or equivalent) advantageous.
