Trainee HR Administrator - #2155300

Our client, a world-renown US Law Firm is seeking a Trainee HR Administrator to join their London office on a full-time basis, and an initial 2-year contract where you will complete a Business Apprenticeship alongside full-time work.

This is a rare and sought-after opportunity to join a world-leading Law Firm as part of their internal HR function in the London office, working closely with the wider team to support the onboarding of new staff and the smooth-running of the Human Resources department.

The ideal candidate will have a keen and genuine interest in HR, and ideally have some form of Administration experience they can build on, although candidates with no experience will also be strongly considered, provided you can demonstrate a keen interest in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support onboarding and offboarding processes of staff, including arrangement of new joiner paperwork and coordination of exit interviews
• Carry out background checks and onboarding work for new staff members
• Ensure all personnel files are maintained accurately and correctly
• Monitor the internal HR inbox
• Oversee internal systems and databases, ensuring all data is updated accurately
• Act as the first point of contact for any employee queries, resolving or escalating when necessary
• Schedule interviews for candidates
• Support with all ad-hoc HR documentation when necessary

Key Experience:

• A Level / Degree-educated
• Excellent communicator, confident liaising with colleagues of all levels, both written and verbal
• Previous administration experience or any exposure to HR duties would be highly-advantageous
• Genuine interest and keenness in a role within HR, with ambition to progress as an HR Administrator
• Understanding or interest in the Legal field
• Able to maintain a high-degree of accuracy and attention to detail in your work
• Computer literate, able to learn new systems with ease
