Investor Relations Executive within Asset Management Firm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Investor Relations Executive to join the Retail Investor Relations team of a leading asset management firm in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing exceptional service and support to the firm's retail investors and their appointed financial advisers, managing inbound queries across telephone and email while ensuring responses are accurate, efficient and delivered within defined SLAs.

The role is varied and client-focused, combining day-to-day investor and adviser support with a range of administrative responsibilities and opportunities to contribute to projects and initiatives designed to improve processes, communications and the overall client experience. You will also work closely with the wider Investor Relations and Sales teams, developing strong product knowledge and becoming a "Product Champion" for one of the firm's tax-efficient investment products.

What you'll do:

• Respond to inbound queries from retail investors and financial advisers via telephone and email, providing accurate, professional and timely responses within defined SLAs.
• Provide support for the firm's newly implemented investor portal, assisting investors and advisers with related queries and processes.
• Manage investor administration from start to finish, including investor transfers and exits, ensuring all processes are handled accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of periodic and ad-hoc communications to investors and advisers, including regular valuations, biannual reports, factsheets and dividend announcements.
• Work closely with the Retail Sales team, providing support as required and attending ad-hoc client meetings to assist with updates on fund performance.
• Develop strong knowledge of the firm's products and become a "Product Champion" for one of the three tax-efficient investment products.
• Work alongside the Investor Relations Associate on product-related projects, initiatives and communications.
• Identify opportunities to improve the investor experience, reduce errors and increase operational efficiency across the team.
• Collate and monitor investor feedback, identifying trends and opportunities to enhance the quality and efficiency of the service provided.
• Support the organisation and delivery of investor events, helping to strengthen client engagement and relationships.
• Contribute to client retention initiatives and assist with their implementation across the Retail Investor Relations team.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Investor Relations, Sales and wider teams to support continuous improvement and deliver a consistently high standard of client service.

What you'll need:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a client-facing or customer service role within Financial Services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence and professionalism to communicate effectively with investors and financial advisers.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage a varied workload effectively, including when working under pressure.
• A client-focused approach, with a genuine commitment to delivering a high standard of service and building positive relationships with investors and advisers.
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to handling administration, ensuring accuracy across investor records, processes and communications.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of retail investment products.
• An interest in developing deeper product knowledge and becoming a subject matter expert within a specific area of the business.
• A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different teams and contribute to wider initiatives.
• A continuous improvement mindset, actively seeking opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors and enhance the client experience.
• Self-motivated and committed to personal development, with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities and develop within the role.
• Knowledge or understanding of tax-efficient investment products, including VCTs, EIS and BR, would be beneficial but is not essential.
