We are working with a leading international bank on a Vice President opportunity within its EMEA Project Finance Credit Risk team in London.

This is a hands-on second-line credit role, offering exposure to complex, high-profile real-assets financings across EMEA. The successful candidate will work closely with senior credit stakeholders, front-office origination and portfolio-management teams, while retaining responsibility for forming an independent view on transaction risk.

The remit covers a broad range of sectors, including power and renewables, battery storage, water, transport, social infrastructure, digital infrastructure, natural resources and selected real-estate financings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing new project-finance and infrastructure transactions, annual reviews, amendments and restructurings.

• Reviewing financial models, cash-flow forecasts, downside sensitivities and debt-service capacity.

• Assessing financial, technical, legal and market due diligence.

• Preparing clear credit papers, internal-rating recommendations and presentations for senior approval forums.

• Monitoring an existing portfolio, identifying emerging risks and managing waivers, covenant issues, refinancings and watchlist situations.

• Providing constructive credit guidance to origination and portfolio-management teams.

This would suit an experienced credit-risk, project-finance, infrastructure-finance, real-assets debt or portfolio-management professional with strong cash-flow modelling and credit-analysis skills. Direct experience of lender-side project finance, infrastructure debt, structured finance or EMEA real-assets lending would be particularly relevant.
