A new opportunity for a qualified Audit Manager to join a Top 100 accountancy firm based in London, as a result of a newly acquired client based.

The Role
As an Audit Manager the role offers a varied workload, split approximately 80% Audit and 20% Accounts, with substantial responsibility for managing client relationships and developing staff.

- Manage a portfolio of audit and accounts clients, building strong relationships and overseeing the delivery of assignments
- Lead audits from planning through to completion, managing budgets, deadlines and resources
- Supervise, coach and develop team members, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback
- Work closely with Partners, keeping them informed of progress and resolving technical or client matters
- Coordinate workloads across assignments, ensuring staff have the support they need to deliver high-quality work
- Identify opportunities to provide additional support to clients as their businesses develop
- Review statutory accounts and ensure work meets the relevant technical and reporting requirements
About the Candidate
The successful Audit Manager will be a qualified accountant with strong audit and accounts experience gained within UK accountancy practice, and will look to continue their audit career.
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent
- Strong audit and accounts experience gained within UK accountancy practice
- Experience leading audit assignments and reviewing the work of junior staff
- Sound knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting requirements
- Confident managing client relationships and communicating technical matters clearly
- Organised and commercially aware, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- An approachable manager who enjoys helping others develop
- Able to commute to the firm's London offices
