Our client, a highly regarded London law firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join its Finance team on a permanent basis.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Cashier to join the firm's established Finance team in a broad and varied role.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Allocating and posting client funds received through online banking
• Processing client-to-client transfers
• Investigating and allocating funds received against bills
• Processing client account payments via online banking and cheque
• Taking client card payments and processing transactions through the online terminal
• Completing manual and automated interest calculations
• Processing foreign currency transactions
• Responding to ad hoc queries from Partners, Associates, Secretaries and PAs
• Liaising directly with banks and resolving transactional queries
• Opening, closing and maintaining joint accounts
• Supporting cashiering transactions across the firm's London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai offices
• Ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements

Requirements

• The successful candidate will have solid legal cashiering experience gained within a law firm environment, alongside a strong working knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules
