M&A Tax, Associate Director

cer Financial working alongside an accounting firm who are based in London. They are seeking an M&A Tax Associate Director to work with them on a permanent basis.

The responsibilities will include:

1. Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence and M&A tax structuring.
2. Advise private equity and corporate clients on tax implications throughout the deal lifecycle.
3. Manage client relationships, meetings and transaction deliverables.
4. Review tax reports, financial models and legal transaction documentation.
5. Lead, mentor and develop junior team members.
6. Drive business development, prepare proposals and build client relationships.
7. Manage project budgets, billing and deadlines.

The successful candidate:

1. ACA, CA, CTA, ADIT or equivalent qualification.
2. Strong UK tax technical knowledge and advisory experience.
3. Experience in UK corporation tax, M&A tax and/or tax due diligence.
4. Proven client management and project leadership skills.
5. Strong commercial awareness and business development experience.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
7. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
