Michael Page Sales

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity within a growing SaaS business, focused on coaching and developing a team of Mid-Market Account Executives while introducing greater sales rigour, structure, and best-practice methodologies. Working closely with the Head of Sales, you'll play a key role in improving team performance, refining sales processes, and supporting the company's continued growth into larger, more strategic accounts.

Client Details

A fast-growing UK SaaS scale-up, this business provides a market-leading platform to thousands of customers and is on a mission to modernise and simplify operations within its sector. With strong product-market fit, continued investment in its sales organisation, and ambitions to move further up-market into larger accounts, it offers the pace and influence of a scale-up combined with the stability of an established player.

The company has recently strengthened its leadership team and is focused on building a more structured, high-performing sales culture. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and play a key part in shaping the next phase of commercial growth.

Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Mid-Market Account Executives to drive consistent revenue performance and target attainment.
  • Implement and embed structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC to improve deal qualification, forecasting accuracy, and sales execution.
  • Run regular one-to-ones, deal reviews, pipeline inspections, and performance coaching sessions to elevate team capability.
  • Partner closely with SDR, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to accelerate pipeline generation and conversion.
  • Refine sales processes, playbooks, and operational frameworks to support the ongoing growth and maturity of the sales organisation.
  • Act as a senior stakeholder on strategic opportunities, supporting reps through complex negotiations and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to drive continuous improvement and help lay the foundations for future Enterprise growth.

Profile

The ideal candidate will be an experienced B2B SaaS sales leader with a proven track record of managing and developing Account Executives in a high-growth environment. They will be a hands-on coach who enjoys improving performance through structured sales methodologies, deal reviews, forecasting discipline, and mentoring, rather than relying on individual contribution.

They will have experience leading Mid-Market or Enterprise sales teams, implementing frameworks such as MEDDPICC, and driving consistent revenue growth through strong process, accountability, and sales execution. Confident operating in a scale-up environment, they'll be comfortable building structure, influencing stakeholders, and helping shape the next phase of the company's commercial growth.

Job Offer

  • The opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and maturing a growing SaaS sales organisation.
  • Direct exposure to, and partnership with, a newly appointed Head of Sales as the business enters its next phase of growth.
  • A genuine leadership position focused on coaching, team development, sales strategy, and process improvement.
  • The chance to implement best-practice sales methodologies and influence how the team sells.
  • Opportunity to broaden your impact into Enterprise sales as the business expands its go-to-market strategy.
  • Hybrid working from a Central London office (3 days per week).
  • Competitive package of £75,000-£80,000 base salary, uncapped commission, and OTE of £110,000-£120,000.
  • The pace, autonomy, and visibility of a scale-up environment, where your contribution will have a direct impact on revenue growth and team success.
