Outsourcing Assistant Manager : Top 10 firm. London - hybrid - Morgan McKinley - #2159329

My client, a leading Top 10 accountancy firm, is looking for an Assistant Manager to join its growing Outsourcing team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice accountant who enjoys working closely with clients and wants to develop their career within a large, highly regarded firm.

The role will involve supporting a varied portfolio of clients with their day-to-day finance function and accounting requirements, with a particular focus on management reporting and outsourced accounting services.

The role

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing and reviewing management accounts and financial reports
• Overseeing bookkeeping, reconciliations and VAT returns
• Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end requirements
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and building strong working relationships
• Identifying and resolving accounting and finance-function issues
• Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members
• Supporting clients with improvements to accounting processes and systems
• Managing multiple client deadlines and ensuring a consistently high standard of service

The ideal candidate

You will ideally:

• Be ACA or ACCA qualified, or approaching qualification
• Have experience gained within an accountancy practice or professional services environment
• Have strong management accounting and/or outsourcing experience
• Be confident working directly with clients
• Have experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members
• Have strong communication and organisational skills

Experience working with real estate clients would be advantageous but is not essential.
