Reporting to the EU Mobility and Payroll Manager


We are pleased to be recruiting for a global leading brand.


We are currently recruiting for a HR/Payroll Senior Specialist who will report to the HR/Payroll manager. You will work closely with EU HR team, HR Managers and Payroll specialists represented in EU markets mainly on the following HR functions: payroll, mobility and immigration. Being based in Central London, this will also offer you the opportunity to collaborate with our EU regional departments.


The right candidate will have strong experience in an operational HR/Payroll role and to become a valuable business partner to EU HR/Payroll teams, ensuring operational excellence in standard payroll activities, part of this role is managing mobility and immigration functions supporting to expats in the EU markets.


What you will be responsible for

  • Support EU markets to lead end-to-end payroll process, being the part of the payroll chain
  • Closely cooperate with EU markets Payroll Partners and HR Managers
  • Execute controls of payroll files throughout the payroll cycle.
  • Manage the payroll for expats, coordinating with tax advisor and EU markets mobility partners.
  • Validate and approve payroll data as a part of the payroll chain
  • Manage salary payment, taxes, social security and other payroll related payments for EU markets
  • Manage month-end and quarterly payroll reports for Finance.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll issues
  • Lead payroll, mobility and immigration governance, internal/external audits, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic input into EU level policies, systems, and tools.
  • Manage immigration process for expats coming/leaving EU markets


Skills, Experience and Attributes:

  • -Payroll management experience in retail or high-volume environments (1000 plus employees) with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, taxation principles, and expat rules.
  • Experience working with expats, global mobility, and tax advisors.
  • Fluent in English communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and customer service mindset.
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong numerical skills, Excel proficiency, and HRIS/payroll system knowledge (Workday, Work Force System.).
  • Ability to work with diverse and global team
