M&A Manager – TMT - #2159497

We are working with a leading advisory firm that is looking to strengthen its London M&A team with an experienced Manager specialising in TMT.

This is a unique opportunity for an M&A professional who has built a strong track record in the Technology, Media & Telecoms sector and wants to join a high-performing team with a strong deal pipeline.

The role would suit someone coming from an M&A advisory, corporate finance or investment banking background, with at least 2 years’ relevant transaction experience and genuine TMT credentials.

You’ll be involved across the full transaction lifecycle, working on a broad range of buy-side and sell-side mandates, including acquisitions, disposals, fundraisings and strategic transactions.

You’ll work closely with Partners and senior dealmakers, while taking significant responsibility for running engagements, managing client relationships and developing junior team members.

The team has an excellent reputation in the mid-market and works with an interesting mix of entrepreneurial businesses, private equity investors and larger corporates.

This is not simply a delivery role. You’ll have the opportunity to get close to clients, build your profile in the TMT market and play a genuine part in winning and executing new business.

• 2+ years' M&A experience gained within an advisory firm, corporate finance house or investment bank
• Strong transaction experience across TMT, ideally Technology, Software, Telecoms, Media or related sectors
• Experience working on both buy-side and/or sell-side transactions
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
• Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of the deal process
• Ability to take ownership of transactions and work directly with senior stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ambition to develop commercially and build a long-term career within M&A
• ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent qualification would be advantageous, but relevant transaction experience is the key consideration
