This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with a background in English, Humanities, or a related subject to gain hands-on classroom experience in a supportive and high-achieving school. The role would be ideal for someone considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, or wider education-based professions.

The school has a strong reputation for academic excellence, outstanding pastoral care, and investing in the development of its staff. Graduates joining the support team benefit from working alongside experienced educators while developing the skills needed for future teacher training pathways.

The successful candidate will support students across KS3 and KS4, working both in the classroom and in small-group interventions. Experience supporting students with SEN is highly desirable, and the school would welcome applications from candidates who can also speak French.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be passionate about education and helping students achieve their potential.
  • Have experience supporting students with SEN and additional learning needs.
  • Possess a strong academic background in English, Humanities, or a related subject.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be proactive, resilient, and confident building relationships with students and staff.
  • Have an interest in future teacher-training pathways.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • French-speaking ability would be highly desirable.

  • Degree or Master's qualification in English, Humanities, or a related subject.
  • Previous experience working with young people.
  • Experience supporting students with SEN.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management and student engagement strategies.
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable but not essential).
