Operational Resilience Manager - Disaster Recovery

Location: London - Hybrid (4 days onsite)
Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum + benefits and bonus

Join a growing, highly regulated financial services organisation undergoing continued investment in operational resilience, security governance and risk management. This role sits at the intersection of business continuity, cyber security, compliance and operational risk, taking ownership of programmes that ensure the organisation can respond effectively to disruption, maintain regulatory alignment and strengthen its overall resilience posture.

This is an opportunity to move beyond policy ownership and become a key contributor to business-wide resilience strategy. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across technology, security and business functions, helping shape how the organisation prepares for incidents, manages risk and meets evolving regulatory expectations. The role offers broad exposure, strategic influence and the chance to drive meaningful improvements across an established environment.

Key Responsibilities - Operational Resilience Manager - Disaster Recovery

  • Lead and mature the organisation's Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programme, including planning, testing and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct Business Impact Assessments, risk assessments and resilience exercises to validate recovery capabilities.
  • Own and enhance information security policies, standards and governance frameworks.
  • Manage security, operational and third-party risk activities, including risk assessments, treatment plans and ongoing oversight.
  • Support compliance initiatives across industry standards and regulatory frameworks while promoting a strong security culture throughout the business.

Key Requirements - Operational Resilience Manager - Disaster Recovery

  • 6+ years' experience within Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Information Security Governance, GRC or related disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of BC/DR frameworks, risk management and security governance practices.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment, ideally financial services.
  • Working knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, DORA, NIS2 or CIS Controls.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, challenge and communicate effectively at all levels.
