Job Title: Content Designer

Location: London, SW11 8BZ (Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite)

Duration: 12 months contract initially

Max. Budget: £275 - £345 per day on PAYE + paid holidays + pension (Equivalent to £75k - 89k per annum)

Summary:

  • We’re looking for a content-focused designer with strong retouching and compositing skills to help create compelling visuals for TV shows and films on-platform.
  • You’ll be working within an international creative team of designers and art directors to develop artwork that feels true to the world of each title — drawing on episodic stills, unit photography, and layered assets to build smart, eye-catching visuals that live inside the product experience.
  • You’ll take early-stage concepts and help bring them to life visually — shaping tone, refining composition, applying light grading and retouching, and getting visuals to a place where they clearly communicate the creative intent. From there you will either finish these in-house, or work with vendors to finalize for use on platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and retouch visuals to a finished level for on-platform use — across cover art, title moments, rows, and episodic treatments
  • Develop thoughtful visual compositions that reflect the tone, story, and identity of a title based on briefs from our art directors and our platform creative strategists
  • Work from a range of inputs: early creative directions, comps, rough edits, or pulled stills
  • Apply high-level retouching, compositing and grading techniques to bring images to life
  • Collaborate with creative leads, motion designers and editors to build visuals that feel connected to both product and content
  • Iterate quickly and respond well to feedback while maintaining a strong point of view.

Essential Skills:

  • Advanced Photoshop skills with a strong eye for tone, detail, composition and storytelling
  • Experience working with stills, layered PSDs, and a mix of source assets
  • A sharp sense of taste — able to reference and apply visual cues from art, fashion, editorial, and entertainment
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving creative environment, and confident working autonomously or as part of a team
  • An understanding of how to balance polish and authenticity in visual design
  • Bonus: motion or type design experience.
