Marketing Manager

London, St Katharine Docks | £40,000–£50,000 | Hybrid working

Full-time | Permanent

Big ideas. Engaging campaigns. Marketing that makes an impact.

Are you a creative marketer with a commercial mindset? Love turning ideas into campaigns that get people talking—and taking action?

We’re recruiting a Marketing Manager for a growing service sector business. This newly created role offers the chance to shape its marketing activity, bring fresh ideas to life and see the results of your work.

Reporting directly to the CEO and managing one direct report, you’ll combine strategy with hands-on delivery. From digital campaigns and content to events and PR, there’s plenty of variety—and plenty of scope to make your mark.

Your next challenge

Shape the strategy. Deliver the results.

  • Create short- and long-term marketing plans that support business objectives.
  • Develop campaigns that generate leads, build engagement and improve conversion.
  • Use analytics to understand what’s working and make every campaign stronger.
  • Support and develop your direct report, keeping activity focused and on track.

Create content people want to engage with.

  • Deliver integrated campaigns to member businesses using Salesforce CRM and the marketing platform.
  • Produce newsletters, website content and social media campaigns that inform, inspire and connect.
  • Create engaging written and visual content, including video.
  • Brief the external design agency and coordinate publications from first idea through to print and distribution.

Keep the digital presence fresh.

  • Manage content across two websites, maintaining a consistent brand and a great user experience.
  • Build visibility through SEO and social media, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Work with hosting providers to keep both websites performing well.

Bring the brand to life.

  • Manage press enquiries and write compelling media releases.
  • Work with colleagues to coordinate and promote the events programme.
  • Represent the business at exhibitions, conferences and trade shows.
  • Build positive relationships with members and industry stakeholders.
What you’ll bring

You’re comfortable moving between planning a campaign and getting stuck into the detail. You know how to pair creativity with data, write copy that connects and keep multiple projects moving.

We’re looking for:

  • Experience in a busy marketing team, ideally within a B2B or service environment.
  • Strong digital marketing skills, including SEO and Google Analytics or similar tools.
  • Confident social media management, particularly LinkedIn, with experience using photography, images and video.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Experience with website content management systems and Photoshop or similar image software.
  • A sound understanding of CRM, email marketing and the value of accurate data.
  • Experience organising face-to-face events from start to finish, including managing budgets.
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365, including Teams.

Extra points for: Salesforce experience, knowledge of print production, a marketing qualification—or working towards one—and experience in the construction or electrical sector.

Your approach matters

You’re personable, curious and confident building relationships. You enjoy working with others, take ownership of your projects and bring ideas as well as solutions.

You’ll also be organised, calm under pressure and sharp on detail, with the confidence to explain your decisions and communicate at every level.

What’s in it for you?
  • £40,000–£50,000 salary, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working between home and the London office.
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Contributory pension, matched up to 6%.
  • Bupa private medical and dental cover.
  • Exceptional training and development, with a genuine path to progression.
  • A newly created role with variety, visibility and the opportunity to influence the marketing direction.
