SENIOR CREDIT RISK ANALYST
LONDON | UP TO £75,000 + 10% BONUS + 7% MATCHED PENSION
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing consumer lender that combines the pace and innovation of a fintech with an established lending business. Having recently strengthened their analytics leadership team, they are investing heavily in their credit capability and expanding their lending operation.

Following a period of significant growth, they continue to invest across their products and analytics functions. They are also embracing AI across the organisation, encouraging analysts to leverage emerging tools to enhance insight generation, improve efficiency, and support smarter business decisions.
THE ROLE
- Support the development and optimisation of lending strategies across the loans portfolio, with some exposure to cards
- Own affordability analysis and contribute to income verification and customer assessment strategies
- Recommend changes to credit policies, cut-offs, and decisioning strategies
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify opportunities to improve risk and commercial outcomes
- Use data and AI-driven tools to generate insights and support decision-making
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong experience within consumer lending credit risk, ideally across personal loans, credit cards, or other retail lending products
- Experience developing and implementing credit strategies across acquisitions, customer management, or underwriting
- Strong understanding of affordability assessments, income verification, and lending decisioning processes
- Strong SQL or comparable coding skills, with the ability to extract and analyse large datasets
- Interest in applying AI tools to analytical workflows
- Degree in a numerate discipline is advantageous

- Salary up to £75,000
- Annual bonus averaging 10%
