The Management Recruitment Group

This is a great opportunity to join a leading flooring and property services business at an exciting stage of its growth. As part of a fast-expanding B2B division, our client is continuing to strengthen its presence across the social housing, housebuilding, build-to-rent and insurance sectors, securing places on major public sector frameworks and winning increasingly complex contracts nationwide. To support these ambitious growth plans, they are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to take ownership of a newly created role that will play a key part in shaping and driving future success.

Reporting to the Head of B2B Partnerships, the Bid Manager will lead the end-to-end bid process across frameworks, tenders, DPS opportunities and mini-competitions, ensuring high-quality, compliant submissions are delivered on time. Working closely with stakeholders across operations, finance, supply chain, and delivery teams, you will coordinate bid activities, manage bid/no-bid decisions, develop persuasive written responses and help establish a best-in-class bid function. This is a unique opportunity to build processes, create a bid library and influence the strategic direction of the business's bidding capability from the ground up.

The successful candidate will be a proven Bid Manager or an ambitious Senior Bid Writer looking to take the next step, with experience of winning public and private sector contracts within social housing, construction, maintenance, facilities management or related sectors. Combining excellent writing skills with strong commercial awareness and project management ability, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be excited by the opportunity to join a growing organisation where your impact will be felt immediately. With this being a brand-new position, it offers the rare chance to shape a function and play a key role in supporting the next phase of the client's ambitious growth journey.
