Financial Modelling Manager - #2161690
Akkodis
Financial Modelling Manager
Complex Global Organisation
London
£90K - £110K + Benefits
We're working with a major organisation looking to appoint an FP&A Modelling Manager to provide dedicated financial modelling support across bids, tenders, commercial decisions and long-term strategic planning.
This is a specialist modelling role with broad exposure across the Group. You'll work closely with commercial, finance and senior leadership teams, building robust financial models that support major opportunities, investment decisions and the organisation's longer-term strategy.
The Role:
You'll take ownership of high-quality financial modelling across a range of commercially significant projects, including:
- Building and maintaining bid and tender models, working closely with commercial teams on major opportunities
- Developing Group-wide long-term forecasts and financial models underpinning the strategic plan
- Supporting business cases, investment decisions and wider strategic finance initiatives
- Performing detailed scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess commercial options, risks and potential outcomes
- Challenging assumptions and ensuring models provide a robust basis for decision-making
- Maintaining clear, well-structured and well-documented financial models
- Translating complex modelling outputs into clear commercial insight and recommendations for senior stakeholders
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a genuinely strong financial modelling background who is comfortable building and developing complex models rather than simply maintaining existing reporting templates.
You'll ideally bring:
- Significant experience in financial modelling, commercial finance, corporate finance or a similarly analytical environment
- Strong experience building complex models in Excel from the ground up
- Experience supporting bids, tenders, investment cases, major projects or significant commercial decisions
- Strong understanding of scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and long-term forecasting
- The ability to interrogate assumptions and identify financial and commercial risks
- Confidence communicating complex financial outputs to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- A structured approach to model governance, documentation and quality
- Experience working within a large, complex or multi-entity organisation would be advantageous, but the strength of your financial modelling background is the priority.
Why Consider It?
This is an opportunity to move into a genuinely dedicated modelling position where your work will directly influence major commercial opportunities, strategic investments and long-term Group decisions.
Rather than sitting solely within a traditional reporting cycle, you'll have exposure to high-profile commercial activity and work on models that have a tangible impact on the direction of the organisation.
