Avaloq Developer - #2162352

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Avaloq Developer with 8+ years of overall IT experience to work on banking technology projects for NatWest, through our implementation partner Maveric Systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Avaloq development, customization, configuration, and integration, along with a good understanding of banking and financial services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and enhance solutions on the Avaloq Banking Suite.

- Perform Avaloq configuration, scripting, development, and customization activities.

- Develop and maintain integrations/interfaces between Avaloq and external banking systems.

- Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.

- Participate in development, SIT, UAT, deployment, and production-support activities.

- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root-cause analysis.

- Work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, and other technology teams.

- Prepare technical documentation and support release/deployment activities.

- Follow coding standards, development best practices, and banking security requirements.

Mandatory Skills

- 8+ years of overall IT experience.

- Strong hands-on experience in Avaloq development.

- Experience with Avaloq Banking Suite.

- Strong knowledge of Avaloq scripting/configuration/customization.

- Experience in Avaloq implementation, enhancement, or migration projects.

- Good SQL/database knowledge.

- Experience with system integration and interfaces.

- Strong understanding of banking/financial services.

- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with major UK/European banking environments.

- Experience across areas such as Payments, Deposits, Lending, Securities, or Wealth Management.

- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

- Exposure to production support and performance optimization.

- Experience working with large-scale banking transformation/implementation programs.

Candidates should have strong hands-on Avaloq development experience.
