Meraki Talent is working with a growing SME looking to recruit a Part-Time HR Manager, to take full ownership of the HR function.

This is a standalone HR role, ideal for an experience HR professional who enjoys a true generalist role. Balancing HR operations and people strategy with SLT.

HR Responsibilities:
  • Managing the day-to-day HR function across the employee lifecycle
  • Providing trusted advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR and employment matters
  • Managing a varied employee relations caseload, including absence, performance, conduct and grievances
  • Leading and supporting performance management processes
  • Advising on employment changes, including restructures, changes to terms and conditions and other people-related projects
  • Developing and maintaining the company's compensation framework
  • Supporting the development and implementation of the wider people strategy
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activity
  • Supporting employee engagement initiatives and company culture
  • Reviewing and improving HR policies, processes and procedures
  • Ensuring the business remains compliant with relevant employment legislation and best practice
  • Providing people data and insight to senior leadership to support decision-making
Person Specification:
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification – essential
  • Proven experience working in a standalone HR role, ideally within an SME environment
  • Strong generalist HR experience across the full employee lifecycle
  • Good knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Experience developing or managing reward and compensation frameworks
  • Experience supporting and delivering people strategies, engagement and culture initiatives
  • Strong recruitment and onboarding experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A pragmatic, hands-on and commercially minded approach
  • The confidence to operate independently and advise senior stakeholders
