Commodities Quantitative Analyst - London, New York or Houston
A leading global multi-strategy hedge fund is looking to hire an experienced Commodities Quantitative Analyst as part of the continued expansion of its commodities platform.
The role sits within a central quantitative analytics function and will focus on pricing library development, analytics and modelling. You will work closely with Portfolio Managers, traders, Risk Managers and other quants, developing models and analytics that are used across the business to support trading and risk management activities.
The firm is currently making a significant push into physical commodities, initially focused on North American Natural Gas, with plans to expand further across other commodities and geographical markets. The business already has strong trading and risk expertise and is now looking to build out its specialist quantitative capabilities within physical markets.

- Strong knowledge of physical commodities products and modelling techniques
- Natural Gas and Power are the primary areas of interest, although experience across other commodities is valuable
- Develop pricing models, analytics and quantitative infrastructure
- Work closely with PMs, traders, Risk Managers and other quantitative teams
- Candidates from approximately 2 to 10+ years of relevant experience will be considered
- Opportunity for more senior candidates to take broader ownership of quantitative work across Commodities
- Technology stack: C++ and Python
- Based in London, New York or Houston
