STORMX RECRUITMENT LIMITED

This long term and trusted partner client of ours is seeking a vibrant and customer focused Events Specialist to manage their exciting, innovative and highly polished showroom in central London. A role with a huge variety of responsibilities, it's an exciting chance to meet Customers, acting as a welcoming and informed face of the business at all times, while ensuring that Guests have a superb experience while on site.

Friendly and warm, you should also have a brilliant eye for detail and excellence, as this is a B2B environment and some of the client partners may be high profile individuals. Spanning all duties from office management, procurement for the site, concierge and reception style welcoming, to event and meeting planning & execution, this is a role for the consummate all rounder who loves an ever changing job where very few days are the same.

Key duties include:

  • Acting as the welcoming face and voice for all incoming guests and businesses to the site.
  • Ensuring that all spaces are clean, prepared and ready for each meeting as required.
  • Order all materials for the site ensuring stock and materials are all ready on demand for each event or meeting booked.
  • Ensuring the businesses systems/CRM are kept up to date with all data, comms and details of each meeting/event booked and attended.
  • Booking and delivery of all meeting/event catering solutions, ensuring relationships with suppliers is effective at all times.

A wonderful job for a confident and personable operator, this role is largely about attitude and proactivity. Experience in a customer facing environment is essential, but beyond that the role could suit office/showroom managers, all the way through to Receptionists or retail departmental managers, perhaps even a bright Graduate with experience in events? We're incredibly flexible given the requirement for immediate availability, commitment to a 5 day per week on site role, and the core traits of personality, proactivity and attention to detail.

Unquestionably a role with potential to be permanently employed in the future, the environment and people are wonderful - you'll have a great time and get a real chance to develop here!
