A public sector organisation based in London is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Workforce Administration Advisor to join its Non-Permanent Labour (NPL) Team.
This is a fast-paced and varied role supporting the administration and management of temporary workforce. You will play a key role in ensuring contractor records are accurate, timesheets are processed efficiently, contract extensions are managed effectively, and managers receive a high level of support and service.
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, enjoys problem solving, has strong Excel skills and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This is an initial 6-month contract based in Central London with hybrid working available (50% in the office), the daily rate for the role is up to £159.31 per day via an Umbrella company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to queries received through the NPL team inbox.
- Provide advice and support to managers, suppliers and temporary workers regarding timesheets, contract extensions and general workforce queries.
- Ensure all contractor and manager correspondence is issued accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Support the resolution of timesheet and payroll-related issues.
- Monitor contract end dates and proactively coordinate extensions with stakeholders.
- Carry out quality assurance checks to ensure workforce and contractor data is accurate across systems.
- Assist with management information reporting and maintaining accurate records.
- Support Single Source Justification administration and associated processes.
- Communicate key deadlines to managers and suppliers, including early timesheet submission deadlines.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure all team service levels are achieved.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong administrative experience within a busy and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing timesheets, payroll queries or contractor administration.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- Ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working to tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Competent user of Microsoft Excel, including:
- VLOOKUPs
- Pivot Tables
- Basic formulas
