Data Analyst 12 Month FTC London (hybrid) | up to £50,000 This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Data Analyst to join a growing retail business and play a key role in shaping customer, retail, and commercial strategy. You will work closely with commercial, customer experience, finance, and analytics teams to help drive business performance.The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering customer, retail, and commercial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.Key responsibilities include:

• Analysing customer behaviour, retail performance, and commercial trends to generate actionable insights.
• Developing and maintaining KPI reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics using data visualisation tools.
• Producing regular reporting on customer purchasing patterns, product performance, and commercial outcomes.
• Supporting location and expansion decisions through store performance analysis and market opportunity assessment.
• Measuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and retention.
• Building customer segments and supporting targeted customer engagement initiatives.
• Evaluating campaign performance, including customer segmentation and A/B testing analysis.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide data-driven recommendations and support forecasting activities.
• Conducting ad hoc analysis to answer key business questions and identify growth opportunities.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience in a Data Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Customer Analyst, or similar analytics role.
• Experience working with large transactional and customer datasets.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with modern data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Strong customer analytics, segmentation, and behavioural analysis experience.
• Ability to translate data into clear business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups in a fast-paced commercial environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Retail, e-commerce, or consumer-focused industry experience is highly beneficial.
