Are you a passionate and experienced Podiatrist looking for your next locum opportunity in South London?

We are currently seeking multiple Band 6 and Band 7 Podiatrists for a range of exciting locum opportunities across various NHS Trusts in South London. We have opportunities within High-Risk Foot Care and Wound Management, as well as Musculoskeletal (MSK) Podiatry, offering the chance to utilise your clinical expertise in a supportive NHS environment.

With flexible full-time and part-time opportunities available, these roles are ideal for experienced podiatrists looking for their next challenge, greater flexibility, or the opportunity to broaden their clinical experience.

Depending on the service and placement, your duties may include:

• Assessing, diagnosing and managing a varied caseload of podiatry patients.
• Providing specialist high-risk foot assessments and ongoing care.
• Managing complex foot wounds, including diabetic foot ulceration and wound care.
• Identifying and managing patients at risk of foot complications, implementing appropriate treatment and prevention plans.
• Delivering musculoskeletal podiatry assessments and developing individualised treatment plans.
• Providing evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, function and patient outcomes.
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS policies and professional standards.
• Supporting patient education, preventative care and ongoing clinical management.

Responsibilities will vary depending on the clinical speciality, seniority and individual NHS Trust.

To be considered for these opportunities, you must have:

• Current HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
• Relevant NHS podiatry experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication and patient-management skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team.
• A professional, patient-centred approach to clinical care.

Previous experience in high-risk foot care, wound management or MSK podiatry will be particularly relevant, depending on the placement.
