About the Role

Step into a pivotal role where your expertise will directly influence financial integrity and operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to lead critical accounting functions, ensuring precision and compliance across all financial activities. Your analytical prowess and leadership will be essential in navigating complex financial landscapes and driving continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Implement internal controls and facilitate SOx Compliance, including validation of key and non-key control reports.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for annual statutory audits with external auditors and support regular internal audits.
  • Prepare annual statutory financial statements, incorporating input from local accounting and tax advisors, and present results to senior leadership.
  • Own the transfer pricing process for the entity, working with Corporate Tax to ensure appropriate agreements are in place, assessing local business changes that may impact the current structure, and ensuring timely calculation and settlement.
  • Drive the completion and filing of Corporate Tax Returns, liaising with external advisors and internal Corporate Tax teams.
  • Participate in researching technical taxation issues affecting the regional legal entity, ensuring full documentation of conclusions and positions in white papers.
  • Create and maintain awareness among local business partners regarding local and statutory compliance reporting obligations, working to localize accounting systems for compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Support systems implementation projects by defining entity requirements, performing testing, and supporting launch activities.
  • Influence team priorities and actively coach and teach peers, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Form strong working relationships with various business partners, including FP&A, Treasury, and Legal teams.
  • Actively identify and support change initiatives, leading change that impacts the entity with guidance from management.
  • Undertake various project and ad hoc analyses to support business decisions, aiding internal customers in compiling financial information and providing technical advice and analytical support.
