Sales and Trading BA – E-Trading/ Algorithmic Trading specialist

Hybrid – 2/3 split

6-month contract

£750 per day (via Umbrella)

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in London. They are seeking a Sales and Trading Subject Matter Expert (SME) / VP to work with them on a contract.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead/support e-Trading and Algorithmic Trading governance across S&T.
2. Review and improve Algorithmic Trading and Trading Venue policies.
3. Maintain algorithm and control inventories, ensuring compliance can be evidenced.
4. Review product classifications and manage any required remediation.
5. Develop e-Trading standards, workflows and processes.
6. Support Remote Booking Standards for cross-border trading.
7. Work with Risk, Compliance and Front Office on Product Governance and approval.
8. Improve Trader Mandate and Trading Venue controls and reporting.
9. Support internal audits and regulatory reporting.

The candidate:

1. Strong background in electronic and algorithmic trading.
2. Good knowledge of trading policies, controls and governance.
3. Experience with trading venues, algorithms and product classifications.
4. Strong understanding of compliance and risk requirements.
5. Experience working across Front Office, Risk and Compliance.
6. Strong analytical, process improvement and documentation skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects.
