Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Identity Migration Architect to lead a critical identity and access management transformation programme, supporting the migration of enterprise identity services from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID and Okta to ServiceNow.

This is a specialist contract role for a highly capable ServiceNow Architect with deep expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM), identity governance, workflow automation, and enterprise platform design. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the target architecture, leading stakeholder workshops, and delivering scalable ServiceNow solutions that modernise and automate identity lifecycle processes.

Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you will ensure a seamless migration strategy while improving operational efficiency through automation and governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

• Lead the architecture and design of identity migration solutions across ServiceNow and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Define target-state IAM architectures and ServiceNow platform capabilities.
• Produce high-quality architecture deliverables including:
• High-Level Designs (HLDs)
• Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
• Process Maps
• Technical Specifications
• Migration Roadmaps
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, governance, security, and operational standards.

Identity & Access Management

• Design and optimise Identity & Access Management (IAM) processes and controls.
• Lead the migration of identity services from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID and ServiceNow.
• Implement identity governance controls and lifecycle management capabilities.
• Define automated Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) processes and provisioning workflows.
• Ensure compliance with identity governance, security, and access management requirements.

ServiceNow Platform Leadership

• Architect scalable ServiceNow solutions that support identity lifecycle management and workflow automation.
• Design end-to-end ServiceNow workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Drive platform best practice across configuration, integration, security, and automation capabilities.
• Support implementation teams with technical guidance and architectural oversight.

Integration & Automation

• Design and oversee integrations between ServiceNow, Microsoft Entra ID, and enterprise platforms.
• Utilise ServiceNow IntegrationHub to automate identity management processes.
• Define and support:
• REST integrations
• SOAP integrations
• Automated provisioning workflows
• Identity synchronisation processes
• Ensure integrations are secure, scalable, and resilient.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with technical and business stakeholders.
• Gather and analyse business requirements.
• Translate complex business needs into practical architectural solutions.
• Present recommendations, designs, and implementation approaches to senior stakeholders.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect delivering large-scale enterprise implementations.
• Strong background in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and identity migration projects.
• Expertise in Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) processes, identity governance, and automated provisioning.
• Hands-on experience with IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, workflow design, and platform automation.
• Ability to facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and produce architecture artefacts including HLDs, LLDs, process maps, and implementation roadmaps.
• Experience designing scalable, governed ServiceNow solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort through automation.
