I'm working with a highly regarded Chartered Financial Planning firm seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning Administrator to join its growing team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IFA administrator who enjoys building client relationships, supporting advisers and taking ownership of complex cases, whilst also developing leadership and mentoring responsibilities.

The role combines high-level financial planning administration with team support and development, making it ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career without moving fully away from client work.

The Opportunity

You'll work closely with a small team of advisers and be responsible for:

  • Managing client servicing and ongoing adviser support
  • Handling complex administration and client queries
  • Overseeing new business and review processes
  • Building strong relationships with clients and providers
  • Ensuring compliance and accurate record keeping
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Improving workflows and contributing to operational efficiencies
  • Acting as a key point of contact for both clients and advisers

About You

To be considered, you'll need:

Previous experience within an IFA, Financial Planning or Wealth Management firm

At least 3+ years of financial planning administration experience

Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products

Excellent organisational and client relationship skills

Experience supporting advisers throughout the advice process

A proactive approach and desire to help develop others

Whilst previous people management experience would be beneficial, this role would also suit a senior administrator looking to take on leadership responsibilities for the first time.

What's In It For You?

  • Join a Chartered and highly respected financial planning firm
  • Genuine progression opportunities
  • Professional study support and funding
  • Exposure to HNW and complex client work
  • Hybrid working
  • Supportive and collaborative culture
  • Opportunity to develop leadership experience whilst remaining close to clients and advisers

This role would suit a Senior Financial Planning Administrator, Senior IFA Administrator, Client Relationship Manager, Wealth Management Administrator or a Financial Planning Administrator looking for the next step in their career.

For a confidential discussion, please contact Ursula Sloan at Financial Divisions.
