We're looking for a proactive and analytical finance professional who can turn complex data into meaningful business insight, influence key stakeholders, and support the delivery of financial and operational performance across the group.
We deliver safety, warmth, and comfort to homes and businesses. Every role, whether in the office or on the front line, plays a key part in this mission. Here’s how you will contribute…
- Own the production of monthly performance reporting, delivering clear financial insight, KPI analysis and executive-level commentary to support decision-making.
- Partner closely with Finance Business Partners and operational stakeholders to understand business performance, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Deliver high-quality variance analysis across actuals, budgets, forecasts and prior year performance, providing meaningful insight into key business drivers and trends.
- Leverage data, analytics and financial modelling to generate actionable insights, improve forecast accuracy and support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Continuously review and enhance reporting processes, tools and analysis to ensure outputs remain efficient, relevant and aligned to evolving business needs.
- Support business-critical projects and initiatives by providing robust financial analysis, maintaining data integrity and translating complex information into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
What you will need
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CA) with a relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong financial analysis and accounting expertise, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful business insight.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, analysing large datasets and producing high-quality reporting.
- Experience working within a finance, audit or analytical environment, ideally within a large corporate, consultancy or professional services setting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and build effective relationships across the business.
- A proactive and inquisitive approach, combining strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture and identify opportunities for improvement.
